"Labor Day"

Labor Day is coming closer!

After a short stint in the hospital earlier this week because little Jason's heartrate dipped a little during a doctor's appointment, I'm back at work in the art room! There's nothing to worry about, Jason is an active, healthy baby weighing in at 6 pounds 14 ounces right now!

I'm 36 weeks pregnant in this picture. At this point I think I could be compared to the Michelin man or Pillsbury dough man. Either way...I'm ready for "Labor Day"!

P.S. My "Cankles" don't look so bad in this picture! Woo Hoo!

Showers of fun!

It's hard to believe that time has flown by so fast lately. I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant and it seems like just yesterday we were telling our families that we were expecting. I can't believe that in another 6 or 7 weeks our little Jason will be here. Not too long ago I had two fantastic showers for Jason and had so much fun. Kent's family was sweet enough to make it to the second shower and hang out with us for several days. We had a blast celebrating our neice's birthday and doing some shopping around town. They were very kind to brave the extreme heat of Texas!

Now that everyone's gone, it's a little quiet around here. While Kent is at work, I'm just getting ready for Jason's arrival. Trying to put away all the generous gifts we received, and organize the makeshift baby's room. All the while trying to also get ready for school to start again. It will be hard to go back to school with swollen feet and hands, and an overactive kid punching me in the ribs! But, like everyone says...the end result is worth it. I just can't wait to get my hands on him!
